You should care for your dental crown the same way you would a natural tooth. That means brushing at least twice a day and flossing daily, and receiving a professional teeth cleaning every 6 months. By giving it the attention it needs, you can expect your crown(s) to last for up to 15 years.

Usually when you get a crown, the restoration must be made in an off-site lab.
